Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician 2 to join our Supply Chain team at Staples, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing preventative and spontaneous maintenance on various equipment, including conveyors, electrical motors, and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, making repairs as needed
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with company safety protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school background preferred
  • 1+ year of related experience in maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand
  • Basic English language skills (both verbal and written)
