JOB TITLE: Junior Semiconductor Operations Technician

SUMMARY:
The Junior Semiconductor Operations Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage parts procurement and preparation for equipment servicing.
  • Ensure availability of frequently used components in designated spare parts storage.
  • Refill chemical containers throughout the facility.
  • Monitor coolant levels and inspect emergency eyewash stations within the subfab area.
  • Assemble and repair components for the Etch sector.
  • Maintain and repair CMP carriers.
  • Restock PEC wafers and coordinate their cleaning process.
  • Distribute tools and equipment from the inventory library as required.

Position Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a standard drug screening and background check.
  • Willingness to use personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Flexibility to work a compressed schedule, including 12-hour shifts on a rotating basis; both night and day shifts may be available.
  • Experience with basic hand tools in any setting.
  • Local candidates preferred.

Pay Range:
  • This position is entry-level with a compensation range of $16-$17 per hour.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • The role requires a combination of standing, sitting, and walking, with the ability to traverse various surfaces and obstacles.
  • Must be able to lift and move items exceeding 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Personal protective equipment is necessary for safety, including eye protection, hard hats, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • The work environment may involve exposure to chemicals and requires adherence to safety protocols.
