Role Summary
As a Surgical Technician, you will take on the critical role of assisting in surgical procedures by functioning as the scrub nurse. This position involves delivering nursing care and surgical services to a diverse patient population, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, in alignment with the mission, goals, and policies of our Nursing Department and Hospital Administration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the provision of appropriate care tailored to the age and needs of the patients.
2. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and assist in surgical procedures.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a medical/surgical or Operating Room setting is preferred.
License: Certification as a Surgical Technician from an accredited program is mandatory.
Physical and Mental Requirements
Physical: The role requires extended periods of standing and walking, along with significant physical exertion, including lifting and moving heavy objects (over 40 lbs.).
Mental: The position may involve occasional overtime, which could affect personal and social commitments, and the regular workload may impose stress.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with standard hours of 40.00 per week. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility required as needed.

You will be part of the Surgical Services team, contributing to our commitment to excellence in patient care.
