About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Front Desk Representative to join our team at Monticciolo Family and Sedation Dentistry, PLLC. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients to the office by their name and provide a personal introduction
  • Educate patients on the completion of patient intake forms and ensure all necessary information is collected
  • Confirm, update, and verify patient demographic and clinically necessary information
  • Obtain and update patient insurance information
  • Educate patients on the next steps and perform patient hand-off to the Dental Assistant or clinician
  • Monitor patients' waiting times and take appropriate action to resolve patient flow issues
  • Partner with the office team to ensure patients' visits exceed expectations
  • Update treatment plan information in the company system at the direction of the treating Doctor
  • Collect and post patient payments
  • Partner with the Office Manager and Doctors to optimize the patient schedule and flow
  • Monitor computer system for late patient arrivals and missed appointments
  • Follow-up with patients to confirm arrival or reschedule for the same day or next available appointment
  • Perform general office duties, including mail distribution, filing, and shredding of protected health information
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional reception area
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a dental front desk role, with additional years of experience welcome
  • Dentrix experience required, with a strong working knowledge and experience highly preferred
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Word and Excel applications, as well as company operational systems
