About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Interstates. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining client relationships, setting strategic goals, tracking progress, and driving sales activity across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to identify business opportunities and expand our presence in the market.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales strategies, set goals, and track progress to achieve sales targets.
  • Proposal Development and Presentation: Assist in developing and presenting proposals to clients, highlighting the value proposition of Interstates' services and solutions.
  • Client Satisfaction and Feedback: Regularly visit clients to assess satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and gather feedback to enhance our services.
  • Industry Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies and business growth initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: A 4-year degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology is preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in selling services, with a background in construction being a plus.
  • Skills: Strong organizational abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change, and a collaborative team player with a drive to support others.
