Job Overview

River Country Cooperative is seeking a highly skilled Agronomy Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing agronomic and technical support to growers and staff within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and recommend agronomic solutions for customers through the offerings of River Country Cooperative.
  • Improve the efficiency and profitability of customers by providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with customers and staff to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
  • Prospect in the assigned area to identify new business opportunities and expand our customer base.
  • Capture and maintain customer and grower data in our selling database to inform sales strategies and improve customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in computer usage, including agricultural software.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
Work Environment

This position works primarily outdoors and may be subject to extreme temperatures. Local travel is required, and regular work schedules are expected, with occasional overtime as needed.

This is a medium-level physical position, requiring the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and to walk, stand, climb, and sit for extended periods.
