Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with business owners and decision-makers in the Milwaukee area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing for appointments and conducting sales calls with business owners and decision-makers
  • Directing sales appointments daily with the goal of marketing and securing Business Analysts a Survey Agreement
  • Contacting Business Coordinator with feedback from appointments and sharing new business lead opportunities
  • Reviewing the day's successes and challenges with your Sales Manager, gaining sales support as appropriate

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and ability to uncover the real 'pain' a client might be experiencing
  • Ability to begin work immediately

What We Offer:

  • This is a commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses; $100K-$110K realistic first-year earnings
  • Potential to earn high six-figure commissions
