**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a motivated Sales Engineer | Inside Sales Representative to drive business growth for our metal fabricated products. This role will focus on fielding incoming leads and driving outbound sales opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

**Lead Management:**

  • Field and qualify incoming leads via phone and web inquiries.
  • Conduct initial consultations to understand customer needs and provide product information.

**Outbound Sales:**

  • Proactively reach out to potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects through strategic outreach and relationship building.

**Requirements Gathering:**

  • Collaborate with customers to gather detailed requirements for both standard and custom metal fabrication projects.
  • Document and analyze customer needs to provide accurate solutions and specifications.

**Quotation and Proposal Preparation:**

  • Work with the engineering team to prepare accurate quotes and proposals based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure proposals are competitive and meet customer expectations.

**Customer Engagement:**

  • Present and explain proposals to customers, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals to achieve sales targets.

**Relationship Management:**

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure successful project execution.

**Reporting and Administration:**

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the metal fabrication or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes and products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
