Job Title: Lead Program Facilitator

Girls Inc. of the Pacific Northwest is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Program Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our program staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality programming to our youth, building strong relationships with our participants, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced facilitator to lead our programming activities with our youth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in group facilitation, experience working with diverse youth populations, and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality programming to our youth, including curriculum-based activities and discussions.
  • Build strong relationships with our participants, their families, and our community partners.
  • Collaborate with our program staff to develop and implement program activities and events.
  • Provide support and guidance to our youth, including addressing their academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in group facilitation or instruction with underserved youth.
  • Strong background in building relationships with youth and their families.
  • Familiarity with delivering culturally relevant and responsive youth programming.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-high school training or degree in a related field.
  • Experience working with transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth.
  • Bi-cultural, bilingual, or multilingual skills.
  • Deep knowledge of local community resources.
