- Administrative Support:

- Preparing and distributing reports, documents, and other materials.
- Collecting, sorting, and distributing mail.
- Providing accurate information about clinic services and policies.
- Handling patient concerns and complaints, escalating issues as needed.
- Coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and effective appointment scheduling.
- General Duties:
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Monitoring inventory levels and requesting office supplies as needed.
- Supporting the implementation and adherence to clinic policies and procedures.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adhering to safety, environmental, and infection control protocols.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Two years of general clerical experience.
- Ability to work in a normal patient care environment with some exposure to biological hazards and infectious diseases.
- Ability to pass a sex offender background check.
- Experience providing support over the phone and in person to diverse groups of customers.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience working with public and/or private health insurance plans.
- Experience using an electronic health record system.
- Ability to utilize bilingual skills (Spanish/English) at a conversation level in a clinical setting.
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer competency with basic Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to work flexible schedules with multiple service lines.
- Ensure patient privacy and confidentiality within regulatory guidelines.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude in a high-stress environment.
- Unconditional ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Ability to comply with established rules, policies, and procedures to meet deadlines.
