Role Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Assembler, you will play a crucial role in our production process by:

  • Executing assembly, testing, and calibration of complex devices according to customer specifications.
  • Performing a variety of tasks that involve adjusting, fitting, and aligning components to meet stringent quality standards.
  • Receiving and interpreting shop orders, drawings, or verbal instructions to assemble diverse products.
  • Setting up workstations for assembly operations and utilizing hand and power tools effectively.
  • Overseeing the work of less experienced assemblers and providing guidance as needed.
  • Reporting any discrepancies found during the assembly process.
  • Maintaining operations on repetitive tasks with precision, utilizing various measuring tools.
  • Adhering to established procedures, specifications, and verbal instructions.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • High school education or equivalent, with proficiency in writing and mathematics.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as required.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to safely and accurately operate a variety of tools and measuring instruments.
  • Familiarity with assembly techniques gained through practical experience.
  • Capability to read and interpret written instructions and technical drawings.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

  • Requires focused mental and visual attention with a high degree of manual dexterity.
  • Involves repetitive hand motions and physical activity such as walking, standing, and lifting.
  • Ability to work in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to various elements.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment as required.
