Chief Business Development Officer

Firespring, a Certified B Corporation, is seeking a visionary leader to drive sales growth and propel our mission to accelerate client prosperity. As Chief Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that maximizes people and the brand.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and oversee the sales process from lead generation through purchase and renewal.
- Set company sales and marketing goals based on projections.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies that best serve our target client base.
- Manage day-to-day performance of direct reports, including VP of sales operations, director of acquisition marketing, and team-level sales managers.
- Maximize team use of CRM and other sales applications, and use data to inform strategy.
- Lead weekly sales team meetings and collaborate with other team leaders.
- Generate ideas for sales contests and motivational initiatives.
- Hire high-performing salespeople.
- Implement performance plans.
- Embody company culture and maintain high team engagement.
- Sales and sales management experience.
- Natural delegator and persuasive motivator that gets results.
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with CRM reporting and management.
- Experience in working with marketing to achieve sales results.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate team members and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Background in commercial printing, marketing, and web-based product services is a plus.
