Job Title: VP of FP&A

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our finance team. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for leading the FP&A team and driving strategic initiatives to support the company's growth and success.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, strategic planning, process improvement, and team leadership. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization, as well as overseeing and managing the development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling tools.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the FP&A team and foster a culture of high performance, continuous learning, and process improvement.
  • Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
  • Oversee and manage the development of budgeting, financial forecasting, and modeling tools.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.
  • Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports, and financial trends.
  • Enhance and implement financial and accounting systems, processes, tools, and control systems.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency.
  • Develop and execute analysis of various business initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, financial analysis, process improvement, and team leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
