Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at Paco's Tacos & Tequila. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, managing a diverse team of culinary professionals, and driving innovation in our menu offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Kitchen Operations: Oversee the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation standards.
  • Manage Culinary Team: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Drive Menu Innovation: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items, specials, and promotions that showcase our commitment to culinary excellence and innovation.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure that all menu items meet our high standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the management of inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of culinary professionals.
  • Tex-Mex Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Tex-Mex cuisine, including its unique flavors, techniques, and ingredients.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Quality Focus: Committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality, and presentation.
