Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Geopaq Logic. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our loan servicing operations and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of quality control operations related to loan servicing, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal standards, and industry regulations.
  • Manage the preparation and submission of reports for state licensing requirements and annual S&P assessments.
  • Coordinate responses to external audits, special requests, and inquiries from lenders, regulatory bodies, and legal advisors.
  • Supervise the handling of 1098/1099 reporting and ensure accuracy and timeliness in tax-related compliance activities.
  • Monitor insurance coverage for the company and ensure all policies are up-to-date and in compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Handle unique cases such as late notices, balloon notices, and refund checks, ensuring proper communication with affected parties.
  • Collaborate with the legal team on legal matters related to loan servicing operations, excluding cases in bankruptcy or foreclosure.
  • Serve as a point of contact for media complaints and manage resolution in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team, foster a collaborative work environment, and mentor junior staff members.
  • Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and implement necessary adjustments to quality control processes.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems used for loan servicing and compliance management.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, compliance, or operations within the financial services industry, particularly in loan servicing or mortgage lending.

Skills:

  • PC literate, proficient with MS Office.
  • General knowledge/proficiency of any loan system is a plus.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize work.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
