Electrical Engineer - Project Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Project Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing electrical systems for various water resource projects, including hydropower plants, dams, and water treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze electrical systems using industry-standard software and methods
  • Coordinate workload to complete assigned tasks on schedule, while balancing priorities of multiple projects
  • Conduct work sessions at project sites in conjunction with project managers and other disciplines
  • Review electrical documents for areas of conflict with other disciplines and communicate needs to achieve complete design
  • Write and edit electrical specifications and select equipment, electrical systems, and devices to meet project requirements
  • Coordinate and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years related electrical engineering experience
  • Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to work independently or as a lead on a multi-discipline consulting team
