Are you passionate about creating impactful experiences for foster and adoptive families? 4KIDS is seeking an Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of various events aimed at fostering community connections and enhancing family retention.


Position Overview:


Develop and manage comprehensive timelines, programs, and roles for all 4KIDS events, including seasonal celebrations, community picnics, and donor-supported excursions across designated regions.

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple events concurrently, ensuring each is delivered on time and within budget, is essential.

Design engaging event experiences that promote connections among foster parents and create a nurturing environment for children, ultimately supporting foster home stability.

Collaborate closely with leadership to establish timelines and manage the execution of monthly gatherings for foster families, while assessing the impact of these events on family retention.

Supervise and mentor event coordinators and assistants, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and best practices in event planning and execution.

Identify sponsorship opportunities to support event costs, liaising with partners to establish sponsorship levels and manage related deliverables.

Work alongside the Marketing Team to produce all event-related promotional materials, including digital and print invitations, marketing collateral, and event signage.

Oversee collection initiatives for school supplies and holiday gifts, ensuring effective communication and tracking of donations.

Lead the design and execution of special events, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, and logistical arrangements.

Coordinate with volunteers and secure guest speakers or entertainment as needed, ensuring smooth on-site production and event wrap-up.

Prepare and manage budgets, focusing on maximizing the experience for families while aligning with the organization's fundraising objectives.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years' experience in coordinating medium to large-scale events
Strong administrative and data management skills
Exceptional communication and time management abilities
Experience in budget management and vendor negotiations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Professional interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
Proficiency in databases, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in events with financial goals is preferred
Availability to work on weekends and select weeknights throughout the year
