Position Title: Event Shift Cleaner

Employment Type: Part-Time

Position Overview:
The Event Shift Cleaner plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our guests during events. This part-time, event-based role requires flexibility in scheduling, with hours typically ranging from 6 to 8 hours per event, primarily during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and healthy atmosphere for guests.
  • Adhere to established Housekeeping Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Proactively identify and address housekeeping issues as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Report safety concerns to the Event Supervisor for evaluation.
  • Regularly monitor and clean restrooms, ensuring sanitary conditions.
  • Inspect and maintain assigned areas, promptly clearing waste and recycling bins during events.
  • Address spills and debris through sweeping and mopping as necessary.
  • Handle specific housekeeping challenges, including:
    • Cleaning behind maintenance on housekeeping-related issues.
    • Managing bio-spill cleanups.
Qualifications:
  • Previous custodial experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated work ethic, resilience, and empathy.
  • Understanding and compliance with company policies are essential.
  • Positive response to management direction is expected.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance during work hours.
  • Commitment to high-quality work practices.
  • Ability to listen attentively and follow instructions accurately.
  • Comfortable working in large crowds.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Punctuality and reliability are crucial.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. without assistance.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to job responsibilities.
  • This is a part-time, hourly position based on event schedules.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Work Schedule: This non-exempt position requires flexibility in hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
