Position Overview:
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will report directly to the Vice President of Physician Operations or their designee. Your role will encompass providing comprehensive medical services to evaluate, diagnose, and treat a diverse patient population facing various health challenges within our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver evidence-based patient care, including thorough clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans tailored to individual health issues or injuries.
2. Develop and implement personalized care plans that outline expected outcomes, interventions, and follow-up strategies, ensuring effective communication with the interdisciplinary team.
3. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to define and execute patient care interventions, providing guidance and education to support staff as necessary.
4. Uphold ethical standards by maintaining patient confidentiality and advocating for patient rights, while also educating patients and families about treatment options and health promotion.

Documentation and Collaboration:
5. Adhere to established documentation practices to accurately reflect the intensity of services provided and the severity of patient conditions.
6. Engage in collaborative discussions with fellow physicians regarding patient evaluations and management strategies.
7. Work closely with administrative leadership to enhance resource utilization, practice efficiency, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
1. Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with an active medical license in Illinois.
2. Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
3. Valid DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License.
4. Current CPR certification or specialty-specific advanced life support certification from the American Heart Association.
5. Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
6. Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based medical standards in the specialty area.
7. Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure situations and prioritize patient care to facilitate efficient operations.

Work Environment:
Flexibility in scheduling is essential, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time positions, including coverage for vacancies as needed.
