Physician Leader: Palliative Medicine Medical Directorship Opportunity

**About the Role**
We are seeking a board-certified Palliative Medicine physician to lead our existing Palliative Medicine Team. As a key member of our Physician Recruitment team, you will be responsible for leading an interdisciplinary team and collaborating with various departments to advance program goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an existing Palliative Medicine Team
- Collaborate with oncology disciplines and other departments to advance program goals
- Actively participate in process improvement related to system and department goals
- Educate hospital staff on benefits of palliative medicine practices
- Consult with patients and families on symptom management and goals of care
- Develop and facilitate goals of care for patients in the in-patient and outpatient setting
- Participate in Tumor Boards and Oncology Quality Committee/Cancer Committee
- Serve as collaborating physician to advanced practice providers
Requirements:
- Board certification in Palliative Medicine
- Experience leading an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
