We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Northwestern Medicine.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine endoscopy and manage patients with gastrointestinal diseases
- Work in conjunction with interventional endoscopists and other subspecialists
- Manage GI emergencies such as upper and lower GI bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus
- BE/BC, fellowship trained Gastroenterologist
- Competent in basic upper and lower endoscopy, enteral access, and GI emergencies
- 26-weeks, 7-day weeks, 12-hour days (1 week on/1 week off)
- Supported by an Advanced Practice Provider for inpatient consults and transition of care
- Physician-led medical group promoting leadership, wellness, and work-life balance
