Job Summary

The Regional Sales Leader will oversee the development of specific plans and projects to ensure short- and long-term growth in the assigned geography. This role is responsible for auditing commercial activities, such as execution, market saturation, product strategic plans, and category penetration to ensure expected growth. The Regional Sales Leader will need to influence distributors on their territory to achieve defined KPIs and become a distributor's counselor, assisting in driving business with a long-term vision. They will implement the company's strategy at the operative level within assigned territories/distributors, providing ongoing sales support and ensuring profitable growth for Barcel USA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embody and lead with a growth mindset, acting upon the vision and values of Barcel.
  • Achieve expected individual performance to goal for established Barcel KPIs (Sales, VPO, Service, Saturation, Voids, and execution - strategic/marketing/promotion).
  • Communicate, plan, and execute Barcel Customer and Marketing strategies.
  • Align and set goals for all Barcel Customer and Marketing strategies.
  • Track and share performance to goal for all Customer and Marketing strategies.
  • Ensure and validate BBU & Barcel orders are aligned on Customer and Marketing plan strategies.
  • Develop and execute Barcel Brand Stewardship in Market in coordination with Barcel/BBU/DSDE COE.
  • Execute and understand the communication OTIF process for Barcel from BBU DC to BBU SC.
  • Coordinate and ensure implementation of all Barcel training in assigned geography.
  • Coach and develop BBU sales Operations 'In Market' on shared KPIs/Goals/Standards, expectations are 60% or 3 days.
  • Communicate and validate POS material expectations to BBU to ensure strategic, promotional, marketing, and 'Gold standard' Barcel Execution.
  • Conduct period Business reviews with BBU sales operations (KPI, Customer, Marketing results).
  • Lead and act as a vision carrier for DSDE (BBU way to coach, BBU way to sell, BBU way to operate, BBU way to WC Merchandising, BBU way to Safety Excellence).
  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships in assigned areas to drive Barcel Performance.
  • Execute coordination and development of Barcel to BBU project support - Multistep - '1800.'
  • Ensure all BBU sales Operations are aligned to Barcel forecast for assigned area.
  • Develop stores visits for focused underperforming Customers/Channels/Categories for all distribution models.
  • Execute Barcel 'Competing to Win' messaging in BBU sales Centers to support Barcel strategic objectives.
  • Support and lead Safety in assigned area.
  • Execute Leader Standard work for Regional Sales Leader role.
  • Create and share weekly calendar with Director of Sales.
  • Communicate effectively with all functions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years sales experience in consumer goods, management, sales, negotiation, finance, and team managing industry.
  • Proven DSD experience.
  • Ability to travel, domestic 50%.
