We are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team in Palm Beach County.

About the Role

This position plays a crucial role in supporting our mission, working closely with volunteers and donors, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft business documents, project plans, and meeting minutes from written specifications and recorded dictation.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases, including managing calendars and preparing financial reports.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and events, including invitations, RSVPs, payments, venue selection, food arrangements, and materials.
  • Support Kohl Jewish Volunteer Center, Family and Community Engagement events, and programs.
  • Assist supervisors at events and meetings.
  • Maintain donor and event information in our donor database.
  • Arrange travel and process reimbursements as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred, along with 2+ years of administrative experience.
  • Previous experience in office management and administration required.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are necessary.
  • Experience preparing meeting minutes and database management is beneficial.

Salary

The estimated hourly pay rate for this position is $22-$26 per hour.
