Job Description

**Job Summary**

The MSR-FSR company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Operations Manager** to oversee the daily operations of our facilities. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our operations, including sales, production, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • **Develop and Implement Operational Strategies**: Plan, develop, and implement the facility's operational structure and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • **Manage Sales and Production**: Oversee the sales and production teams to ensure that sales targets are met and production levels are maintained.
  • **Ensure Safety and Quality**: Work closely with the EH&S Management team to ensure that the facility maintains the highest safety and quality standards.
  • **Manage Conflict and Solve Personnel Problems**: Manage conflict and solve personnel problems in a fair and timely manner.
  • **Maintain Facility Cleanliness and Visual Attractiveness**: Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean and visually attractive condition.
  • **Improve Efficiencies**: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to improve efficiencies.
  • **Sell and Promote MSR-FSR Products and Services**: Sell and promote MSR-FSR products and services to increase market share and build the company's competitive position.
  • **Manage Fiscal P&L and Budget**: Manage the facility's fiscal P&L and budget to ensure that financial targets are met.
  • **Conduct Staff Meetings**: Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that local staff is apprised of current and future plans and issues.
  • **Ensure Compliance with Regulations**: Work closely with corporate staff to ensure compliance with current and future policy and regulations.
  • **Suggest and Implement Recycling or Reuse**: Suggest and implement recycling or reuse of company property and byproducts to reduce waste and improve the environment.

Primary Objectives

  • **Develop an Effective Operational Facility**: Develop an effective operational facility that meets the needs of the company and its customers.
  • **Develop a Skilled Workforce**: Develop a skilled workforce that is capable of meeting the needs of the company and its customers.
  • **Build a Strong Working Relationship**: Build a strong working relationship with GMs from other operations in the organization.
  • **Enforce Company EH&S and Quality Requirements**: Enforce company EH&S and quality requirements to ensure that the facility maintains the highest standards.
  • **Audit and Review Quality and EH&S Systems**: Audit and review all aspects of facilities' quality and EH&S systems and performance.
  • **Facilitate Growth Plans**: Facilitate the growth plans of the company by proactively adopting new processes and/or services.

Education and Experience

  • **Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent**: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field, and/or years' progressive leadership experience in Operations positions.
  • **Specialized Training**: Specialized training in Quality and EH&S Management preferred.
  • **Professional Affiliations**: Active affiliation with appropriate networks and organizations.
