Position Overview

SUMMARY OF ROLE

Jireh Semiconductor is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to fill the role of Head of Process Engineering Operations. This pivotal position will be responsible for managing all facets of the manufacturing processes within the facility, encompassing Lithography, Etch, Thin Film, Diffusion, CMP, and EPI. The team consists of over 50 skilled engineers and technicians, with area managers reporting directly to this role.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various functional teams, including manufacturing, equipment, process integration, quality assurance, facilities, and procurement, to drive goals related to production efficiency, cost reduction, and overall operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide the team in establishing robust processes through Process Release Standards (PRS).
  • Develop and optimize a comprehensive monitoring and defense system to ensure consistent high-quality inline processes.
  • Oversee the maintenance and review of inline Statistical Process Control (SPC) to achieve target CP/CPK levels.
  • Continuously enhance key performance indicators such as WPH, rework rates, and hold rates.
  • Collaborate with KLA, integration, and equipment teams to minimize inline defects and wafer scrap due to process issues.
  • Lead the team in addressing inline excursion module-level actions.
  • Serve as a member of the Process Change Control Board (PCCB) to review and approve process change requests.
  • Partner with the R&D team to advance new module process development.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of a Master's Degree in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in semiconductor module processes is required.
  • Experience in two or more specific areas is preferred.
  • Experience in research and development is an advantage.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of one or more specific process modules, such as photolithography or etch processes.
  • Proven leadership skills in maintaining stability in processes and procedures within high-volume production environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and drive success in module processes and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in both individual and team settings.
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and experience in leading process development projects.
  • Deep understanding of current trends and advancements in semiconductor manufacturing.
