Responsibilities include maintenance and troubleshooting of 200 mm ASML DUV/I-Line Stepper/Scanner and DNS/TEL Track 200 mm equipment. The position focuses on driving continuous enhancements in tool uptime, cost efficiency, and various departmental performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of Equipment Operations:
- Articulates strategic goals throughout the equipment team and strives for achievement.
- Monitors critical performance indicators for the equipment group, including tool availability, preventive maintenance success rates, MTBF, MTTR, and cost management.
- Facilitates manufacturing operations by ensuring alignment of priorities.
- Fosters a robust team through mentorship, professional development, and effective recruitment.
- Champions improvement initiatives that enhance fabrication efficiency and product quality.
- Oversees spare parts inventory to minimize downtime while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- DNS Track Equipment Maintenance [10%]:
- Cleaning of coater and developer unit cups;
- Adjusting motor speeds and robotic systems for coater and developer;
- Modifying temperatures of hot and cool plates;
- Regulating CD and photoresist thickness;
- DNS On-line Tool Troubleshooting [25%]:
- Addressing and resolving inline tool issues, including abnormal stops, wafer breakage, and mechanical or electrical failures.
- TEL Track Equipment Maintenance [10%]:
- Cleaning of coater and developer unit cups;
- Adjusting motor speeds and robotic systems for coater and developer;
- Modifying temperatures of hot and cool plates;
- Regulating CD and photoresist thickness;
- ASML Equipment Maintenance [10%]:
- Verifying and adjusting tool focus;
- Assessing tool intensity;
- Conducting Exposure Overlay checks and adjustments;
- Testing and adjusting robotic transfer systems;
- Cost Reduction Initiatives [5%]:
- Collaborating with procurement to identify alternative sources and working with process teams to validate these sources;
- TEL On-line Tool Troubleshooting [5%]:
- Addressing and resolving inline tool issues, including abnormal stops, wafer breakage, and mechanical or electrical failures.
- Safety Training [5%]:
- Studying environmental safety and health protocols, including emergency procedures;
- ASML On-line Tool Troubleshooting [30%]:
- Addressing and resolving inline tool issues, including abnormal stops, wafer breakage, and mechanical or electrical failures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
- 3-5 years of experience in team management.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience with ASML DUV/I-Line Stepper/Scanner systems and DNS/TEL Track system operations.
Additional Requirements
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Strong business acumen with a proven ability to make informed decisions.
- Prior experience in managing and developing an equipment team.
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels, from technicians to executives.
- Ability to support continuous operations.
