Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

At SCA Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable process, providing exceptional support to our centers and support services teams, and serving as a subject matter expert in AP process-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and respond to AP-related questions and escalated issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with payment requests, credits, voids, reissues, vendor setup, and payment verification
  • Ensure monthly and daily tasks are completed in adherence to established deadlines
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in AP process-related issues and the AP integrated procurement platform (SmartSystem)
  • Work independently to make informed decisions based on the review of support questions and concerns
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or High School diploma with equivalent experience
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, primarily in Excel
