Logistics Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Coordinator at System Foods Inc., you will be responsible for overseeing customer orders from start to finish, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment through our ERP system. This includes managing processes such as order tracking, delivery confirmations, and error resolution.

Customer Service:

You will work closely with the sales team to provide exceptional customer service to customers with order issues, revisions, or questions about open sales orders. This includes communicating effectively with customers and resolving any issues in a timely manner.

Freight and Warehousing:

You will be responsible for managing freight and warehousing costs while delivering on company financial objectives. This includes optimizing logistics processes and ensuring efficient use of resources.

Logistics Metrics:

You will track and optimize key performance indicators such as in-full fulfillment, on-time delivery, and warehouse inventory accuracy. This includes analyzing data and making recommendations for process improvements.

ERP Project Management:

You will lead ERP-related improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness of logistics processes. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing process changes.

Cross-Team Support:

You will work closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, inventory management, and support for customer orders. This includes participating in month-end processes and sample shipments.

Inventory Management:

You will manage finished goods inventory levels and coordinate internal transfers between wholesale warehouses. This includes managing allocation processes and communicating with customers.

Additional Responsibilities:

You will participate in other logistics and operational projects as assigned. This includes building and managing relationships with logistics partners and implementing process enhancements to streamline order management and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sustainability, or a related field is required. Experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Netsuite, Microsoft Axapta) is preferred. Familiarity with EDI systems is a plus. Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Drive, Slides, etc.) is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
