We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Analyst to join our corporate logistics team at Autokiniton. This full-time salary-exempt role reports to the Carrier Development Manager and is responsible for developing and implementing logistics activities for our fleet of Haggerty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements logistics activities for fleet of Haggerty vehicles

• Coordinates efforts of drivers and other personnel

• Determines logistics support sequences and time phasing

• Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications and other data to plan and develop logistic activities

• Bids on open routes and business for fleet

• Makes decisions to book freight at competitive costs for company

• Works with Operations Manager to manage drivers' availability in connection with DOT regulations

• Contacts and supports customers with any questions or issues regarding freight pick up timing or delivery

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Review and audits every freight invoice and approves, or rejects, per Haggerty Logistics processes to ensure accuracy of billing

• Process disputes with carrier-bases and dispositions per Haggerty Logistics processes

• Aids in the preparation of claims against carrier responsible and corresponds with shipper or consignee to effect settlement

• Maintains records of repairs made to Haggerty Logistics equipment, purchase orders assigned, and other expenses

• Process Haggerty Logistics vendor invoices to Accounting and Purchasing to ensure timely payment

• Works with designated accounting associates to ensure freight invoices are paid per Haggerty Logistics timeline and process

• Follows-up on all questions regarding past due invoices, disputes, excess charges and provides solution

• Process SOS requests to move freight to/from Haggerty Logistics (service parts and/or slow-moving inventory). Works with Logistics Coordinator and/or Dispatchers to schedules trucking and processes all freight IB/OB of Haggerty Logistics. Follows Haggerty Logistics processes and timelines in all situations and utilizes proper QAD screens to complete product transfers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Be able to contact customers when needed to facilitate any situation

• Knowledge of customer websites

• Detailed/advanced knowledge of QAD Shipping/Receiving, Accounting, and Purchasing screens

• Familiarity with form TS-1016 Customer-Specific Requirements Listing for ISO/TS-16949

• Ability to navigate customer websites for customer specific requirements, must maintain access to all portals to assist plants when assigned

Working Conditions:
