About the Role

The Ad Council is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Campaign Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and evaluating communications campaigns for more than 30 social good issues each year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the account team in managing strategic and creative development, production, and evaluation for 2-4 fully-integrated multimedia campaigns.
  • Coordinate administrative activities and communications around campaign development, including timelines, call reports, meeting preparation, and budget management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date campaign budgets, financial records, vendor agreements, and contract reporting.
  • Facilitate workflow between clients, partner agencies, and vendors by scheduling meetings, coordinating reviews of campaign materials, aggregating feedback, and securing necessary approvals.
  • Draft and coordinate media marketing and promotional materials for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to analyze and report on real-time campaign performance, including donated and earned media support, managed platforms results, and website and social media analytics.
  • Support social media and digital development efforts, including reviewing editorial calendars, reviewing/crafting website content, and assisting with site QA.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of account or project management experience, preferably in advertising and marketing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of leadership through experiences as a team leader, where you demonstrated effective communication, decision-making, and ability to take initiative.
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • A passion for social change.
