Job Title: Director of Memory Care

Experience Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Memory Care to join our team. As a key member of our senior living community, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a vibrant and engaging memory care program that promotes the well-being and dignity of our residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for residents with dementia or cognitive challenges, team members, and visitors.
  • Supervise and manage the Memory Care team, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure exceptional care and service.
  • Develop and implement daily programming and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Health and Wellness Director to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Conduct regular training and education sessions for team members and families on dementia care and support.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the memory care program, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Partner with the Director of Health and Wellness to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of excellence in dementia care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents, families, and team members.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as gerontology, social services, or behavioral health.
  • 2-4 years of experience in dementia care, with a focus on program development and management.
  • Strong knowledge of dementia care principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to commute to community events and meetings.
