Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct, assess, and document laboratory analyses that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Utilize your training to operate laboratory instruments and perform manual testing techniques.
- Implement quality assurance and control protocols in compliance with established regulations.
- Once adequately trained, you will be empowered to independently manage specimen processing, testing, and result reporting.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with precision and organization.
- Certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent body.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology; or a Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field with one year of Medical Technology training.
- Completion of Clinical Rotation in an MLS or MLT program.
- Strong analytical, reading, and writing capabilities.
- Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment, including computers, automated analyzers, and manual pipettes.
- New graduates in MLS/MLT are encouraged to apply.
- Two or more years of laboratory experience in high-complexity testing.

This position involves access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will receive training on privacy safeguards and are expected to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant privacy and security regulations.
Physical Requirements:
- Fast-paced work environment.
- Extended periods of sitting, along with frequent phone and computer use.
- Ability to stand for up to two hours continuously.
- Capability to reach, extend, and utilize hands and fingers effectively.
- Occasional requirements to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- May need to lift and carry items weighing up to 15-20 pounds.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Willingness to work extended hours as necessary.
