Position Overview:
The Clinical Laboratory Specialist II is responsible for conducting both standard and specialized laboratory tests following established protocols. These tests are crucial for the accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science from an accredited institution. Additionally, completion of a twelve-month clinical laboratory training program that meets U.S. Department of Education standards or is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) is required. Candidates must also have successfully completed a nationally recognized certification examination for clinical laboratory scientists, such as that offered by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or an equivalent certification.

Language Proficiency:
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.

Alternative Qualifications:
An Associate’s Degree in a biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science is acceptable, along with completion of a clinical laboratory training program that meets U.S. Department of Education standards or is accredited by NAACLS. Candidates must also have completed a nationally recognized certification examination for clinical laboratory technicians, such as that offered by the ASCP or an equivalent certification.
