Job Summary

4LEAF, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Public Works Construction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and providing expert guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Provide on-site project management and oversight to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and regulations.
  • Contract Administration: Review and process contract documents, change orders, and payment requests to ensure accurate and timely payment to contractors.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure high-quality project delivery.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular project updates, and addressing concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in public works construction management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Certifications: Registration as a CA Civil Engineer or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Caltrans regulations, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
