Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Provide on-site project management and oversight to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and regulations.
- Contract Administration: Review and process contract documents, change orders, and payment requests to ensure accurate and timely payment to contractors.
- Communication and Coordination: Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project quality and safety standards are met.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Caltrans requirements, to minimize project risks and ensure successful project delivery.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Public Works Construction Manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Education: Registration as a CA Civil Engineer or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM) is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Caltrans regulations, prior experience with state-and federally-funded projects, and proficiency in computer, writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Competitive Salary: $145,000 - $175,000 per year, commensurate with professional certifications, experience, and location of public works projects.
