About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Professional to join our team as a Mid Market Account Executive. In this role, you will drive new business growth within our mid-market account segment, working closely with our Account Development Representatives to qualify new leads and develop your pipeline of opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Meet or exceed sales quotas by prospecting, building pipeline, and selling Coupa's cloud-based spend management solutions to mid-market customers.
- Account Development: Take ownership of your territory, engaging with multiple stakeholders across departments and levels to identify pain points and decision-makers, and develop comprehensive account development plans.
- Thought Leadership: Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, providing proactive thought leadership and addressing prospect concerns and objections to close deals.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and Coupa partners to create joint vision roadmaps, demonstrating the value Coupa will deliver.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Experience: Strong and demonstrable experience in software sales and selling to mid-market customers.
- Executive Presence: Proven executive presence, self-motivation, and resilience.
- Sales Expertise: Expertise in leading multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing deals.
- New Business Opportunities: Proven track record of proactively hunting new business opportunities.
- B2B Sales: Experience selling business value to Finance and Business customers, focusing on ROI and TCO models rather than product features.
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated annual salary: $120,000 - $180,000, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
