About the Opportunity

Harrison Gray Search and Consulting LLC is seeking a results-driven Regional Insurance Sales Agent to oversee and grow business in an assigned sales region. This role offers the opportunity to work independently while making a significant impact by connecting individuals and businesses with the insurance solutions they need.

In this role, you'll manage an established territory and focus on building new business while nurturing existing relationships. With a primary emphasis on health insurance, workers' compensation, farm packages, and agribusiness commercial policies, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering value to clients and contributing to their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Meet with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects to assess their needs and present tailored insurance solutions.
  • Partner with internal Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure a seamless sales process and provide exceptional client service.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for client acquisition and retention, staying informed of market trends to remain competitive.
  • Actively participate in local events and engage in community leadership to build brand awareness and foster relationships.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, with a focus on insurance or business development.
  • Agricultural background or familiarity with rural communities is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a property & casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire and a life/health insurance license within 30 days.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (75-100%).
