About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Insurance Sales Agent to join our team at Harrison Gray Search and Consulting LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets, and developing innovative strategies for client acquisition and retention.

With a strong entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills, you will work autonomously while having access to support and collaboration from a dedicated team. Directly contributing to the growth of a key territory, you will make a name for yourself as a trusted advisor in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Meet with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects to assess their needs and present tailored insurance solutions through on-site and farm visits.
  • Partner with internal Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure a seamless sales process and provide exceptional client service.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for client acquisition and retention, staying informed of market trends to remain competitive.
  • Actively participate in local events and engage in community leadership to build brand awareness and foster relationships.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, communications, and progress through company-provided technology.
  • Stay up-to-date on all regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring all activities align with industry standards.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, with a focus on insurance or business development. Experience selling group health insurance is strongly preferred.
  • Agricultural background or familiarity with rural communities is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a property & casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire and a life/health insurance license within 30 days.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (75-100%).
