Job Overview

Deliver timely and precise service to ensure a delightful drinking experience for patrons while adhering to relevant federal, state, and local regulations. Uphold the company's core principles of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive drink orders from waitstaff and customers at the bar
- Craft and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that align with the establishment's standard recipes, while practicing responsible portion control
- Prepare, store, and maintain all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to guarantee product excellence
- Verify guest identification at the bar
- Comply with all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws regarding the service of alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated individuals; ensure adherence to all regulations
- Handle cash-related tasks (e.g., making change, validating charges, recording transactions, and ensuring proper execution of vouchers) to balance all financial transactions
- Clean and sanitize glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- Maintain cleanliness throughout all bar areas
- Organize bottles and glasses to create an appealing display in the bar section
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings and provide suggestions for enhancements
- Must be capable of performing the essential functions of this role with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Required
- Minimum of 6 months experience in bartending
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Capacity to frequently reach, bend, stoop, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds
- Strong basic math skills
- Effective and professional communication skills with team members and guests
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities to promote teamwork and collaboration
- Comprehensive understanding of state and federal liquor regulations

Preferred
- At least 1 year of bartending experience
- Valid Alcohol Service permit
