Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and advise on diverse products and programs, providing systems engineering expertise on both new and existing solutions while developing innovative concepts for our clients.
  • Engage directly with clients, senior leadership, program managers, and multidisciplinary technical teams to thoroughly comprehend client objectives and devise effective solutions.
  • Oversee or participate in Research and Development initiatives that delve into advanced technological exploration.
  • Participate in engineering activities such as concept development, design engineering, integration and evaluation, and operational maintenance of various systems or systems of systems.
  • Maintain extensive early and ongoing communication with clients to define solutions and project scope, acting as a liaison within the organization.
  • Lead teams of engineers in large-scale design efforts, deliver formal presentations to extensive audiences, conduct detailed design reviews, manage multiple projects concurrently, and innovate strategic directions under pressure.
  • Collaborate with development teams to address discrepancies and challenges.

Essential Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Systems Engineering or leading technical developments, including design, development, and testing of complex hardware and software systems.
  • Proficiency in Design, Development, Integration, and Testing.
  • Experience with RF, Optics, Networking, or Telecommunications standards and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data center or co-location infrastructure.
  • Proven ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Experience collaborating with clients, end-users, hardware, and software design teams.
  • A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Poly is mandatory prior to commencement.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in developing high-speed processing hardware, embedded systems, FPGAs, or complex control software.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, including AWS, Azure, or Google.
  • Experience in reverse engineering complex software/hardware systems.
  • Understanding of telecommunications systems concepts and signal processing fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in formalizing and developing requirements, plans, and procedures based on client interactions.
  • Experience in system-level design and high-level control and data interfaces.
  • Involvement in bid and proposal activities related to system development.
