Job Overview:


L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to be part of the Operations Test Engineering Group. This role is pivotal in driving the design and implementation of test beds and automation systems.

The Lead Electrical Engineer will collaborate closely with the test systems engineering team to ensure that product specifications are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to product development, ideally within a military application context.
- Engage in manufacturing processes and the development of manufacturing tests.

- Possess a solid understanding of engineering architecture and design principles, alongside the engineering practices necessary for the development, testing, and deployment of test systems.

- Exhibit strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to meet critical deadlines.
- Show proven experience in planning and coordinating projects efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, contributing ideas and work productively.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in product development, particularly in military applications.
- Background in manufacturing and the development of manufacturing tests.

- Comprehensive understanding of engineering architecture and design concepts, along with the engineering practices required for the development, testing, and deployment of test systems.

- Strong computer skills, particularly in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional analytical, project management, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to foster collaboration among team members.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance if required.
