In the Apple TV Services Teams, we strive daily to create offerings that elevate user experiences. Our team not only built and oversees the Apple TV but also developed tvOS, revolutionizing how audiences engage with sports and entertainment.

Today, our teams manage a dynamic spectrum of services at Apple, empowering viewers to access their preferred teams and games seamlessly.

To ensure Apple-level excellence on a global scale, our engineers utilize cutting-edge tools and talent to efficiently manage, process, and display sports data. They also integrate at the operating system level to create the best user experiences with the Siri ecosystem.

This group is in search of a highly proficient DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer to assist in designing, developing, and delivering innovative experiences for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and oversee CI/CD pipelines for essential services.
  • Enhance Kubernetes infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with software teams to ensure smooth deployments and efficient operations of sports features.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and application monitoring, performance optimization, and disaster recovery.
  • Stay ahead of technological advancements by exploring and implementing new solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and reporting on infrastructure, pipeline management, and operational procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Infrastructure engineering.
  • Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong command of scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Experience with Java is a valuable asset.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and multi-cloud deployments (preferably Spinnaker).
  • Skilled in monitoring and analytics using tools like Splunk, Prometheus, and visualizing metrics with Grafana.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure services for building scalable, high-availability applications.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for configuring cloud infrastructure and managing deployment pipelines.
  • Passionate about maintaining thorough documentation and reporting on infrastructure and pipeline management.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Pay & Benefits:

At Apple, base pay is just one component of our total compensation package, which is determined within a range. This allows for growth as you develop within your role. The base pay range for this position is between $175,800 and $312,200, with actual pay depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
