In this position, you will be responsible for constructing the next-generation cloud infrastructure that supports all operations at CLEAR. The ideal candidate will tackle challenges with a focus on reliability, simplicity, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a streamlined process for engineers to create and deploy scalable and dependable infrastructure effortlessly.
- Enhance our computing platform (Kubernetes) by integrating new functionalities and features.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to advocate for best practices in observability.
- Act as a product owner for our infrastructure, collecting feedback, requirements, and challenges from various engineering teams to develop effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a software engineer with a strong background in infrastructure and platform development.
- Proficient in writing production-quality software in a contemporary programming language, such as Python.
- Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Cloud Native design principles in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Experience with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or Pulumi.
- A strong focus on product and user-centric approaches.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of systems and environments.

The salary range for this position is $155,555 - $190,000, based on skills and experience.
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum for this role at CLEAR. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as location, education, skills, experience, and performance. This range is just one aspect of CLEAR's overall compensation package, which may also include annual bonuses, commissions, and Restricted Stock Units.
