Insurance Account Executive

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our agency, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing clients and business owners. You will also conduct needs analysis with each client, making sure to uncover any gaps in coverage, and manage commercial client accounts to contribute to the new business goals of the agency.
About the Role
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as good operational computing skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to promote new business, cross-sell and new initiatives, and contribute to individual goals and agency success. Experience with multiple carriers, property and casualty insurance licenses, and EPIC management system experience are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients and business owners
- Conduct needs analysis with each client, making sure to uncover any gaps in coverage.
- Manage commercial client accounts, contributing to the new business goals of the agency, and re-marketing commercial policies.
- Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service
- Respond to inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, claims submissions, and billing verification efficiently
Requirements
- Property and Casualty insurance license required.
- Must be able to report to the Sarasota office 5 days a week.
- Experience with Commercial Lines Insurance
- Experience with multiple carriers
- Pass background check
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Good operational computing skill/typing 45+ WPM (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Browsers)
