Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Konica Minolta Business Solutions Ltd. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote end-user support to clients
  • Act as a primary point of escalation from Tier 2 service desk agents
  • Provide mentorship, training, and information leadership/coaching to junior team members
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members
  • Use available tools to research solutions and provide assistance to clients
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving instincts
  • Listen and seek to fully understand client requests to exceed expectations of service
  • Knowledge of systems and applications used to support a call center environment
  • Understand Information Technologies and be passionate to expand knowledge
  • Actively participate in learning opportunities and complete assigned curriculum in a timely manner: apply knowledge to continuously improve the customer experience
  • Complete projects and tasks as assigned by management
  • Knowledge of Windows Active Directory (User Management/Administration/Group Policy)
  • Advanced knowledge of common desktop applications including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of common TCP/IP services including HTTP, FTP, DNS, and DHCP
  • Ability to problem solve independently, initiate knowledge publication

Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent, bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant technical and customer service experience in systems analysis, implementation, and support for current technologies
  • One or more of the following (or approved similar) certifications are required: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Foundational, VMware VCTA, Cisco CCST, M365 Certifications, Fortinet NSE4, ComptTIA Network+, ComptTIA A+, Apple Certified Support Professional
