Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Supervisor II to join our Transmission and Distribution team. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a safe working environment for our employees and contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate and report on safety incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of our business.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety role, preferably in the transmission and distribution industry.
  • OSHA 30/10 certification and CHST/CUSP/OHST/NCSO certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards, including ANSI/DOT/EPA/OSHA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees, contractors, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
