Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is accountable for the administrative oversight of nursing services during their assigned shifts. This includes:

  • Providing leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring continuity of patient care.
  • Coordinating patient care activities and maintaining high standards of nursing practice.
  • Managing staff attendance and addressing staffing needs effectively.
  • Participating in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing personnel.
  • Engaging in direct patient care as needed during peak times.
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and compliance efforts within the nursing department.
  • Ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff by implementing safety protocols.
  • Being prepared to respond to staffing emergencies and adverse weather conditions.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A valid Registered Nurse license.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of recent supervisory experience in a nursing capacity.
  • Experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings is advantageous.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
