Job Summary

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sustainment Expert to join our team as a Senior Joint Sustainment Analyst Trainer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the Joint Staff J7, Joint Training, Deployable Training Division (DTD) in Suffolk, Virginia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sustainment Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise and training in the Joint Sustainment process, with a focus on strategic and operational levels.
  • Joint Operations Specialist: Integrate into the Deployable Training Division's Plans, Intel, and Sustainment Section, contributing to functional continuity and providing training and support to new team members.
  • Logistics and Planning Professional: Participate in Deployable Training Teams (DTTs) observing, training, and providing feedback to commanders and their staffs during joint and multinational exercises.
  • Senior Joint Sustainment Analyst: Conduct cross-functional analysis of information gathered from joint exercises and training events for the development of lessons learned, insights, and best practices.
  • Strategic Joint Operations Trainer: Develop and facilitate seminars for the National Defense University's Senior Leader Education Program Joint Operations Modules (PINNACLE, CAPSTONE, and KEYSTONE).
Requirements
  • Thorough Understanding: Possess a thorough understanding of Joint Sustainment planning and experience in the Joint Planning Process (JPP) at strategic and operational levels.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to write concisely at an executive level and communicate effectively with senior leaders.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 4 years of experience, with Joint Forces Staff College or Service equivalent.
  • Security Clearance: Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret-level security clearance, upgradeable to Top Secret.
