About the Role

The New York Times is seeking a seasoned growth marketer to join our Growth Marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving subscription growth and revenue goals across our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive business growth, partnering with cross-functional teams to define and achieve results.
  • Marketing Excellence: Lead teams in the execution of acquisition and upsell efforts on marketing and product surfaces, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze performance data and conduct consumer analysis to inform acquisition strategies and optimize results.
  • Talent Management: Manage direct reports and support their career development, fostering a team culture that empowers colleagues to grow and contribute.
  • Business Acumen: Stay current on cultural, business, and competitor trends, applying expertise to drive business impact and growth.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of related experience in marketing, product marketing, or product management, with a proven track record of driving go-to-market strategies that deliver impact.
  • Experience leading campaigns that drive business growth across multiple indicators.
  • Understanding of the product development lifecycle and ability to operate within product-led teams.
  • Direct people management experience and ability to lead teams and manage senior partners.
