Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate EEC Certified Infant Teacher to join our team at The Learning Experience. As an Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for our youngest learners. You will lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers, model behaviors, and provide feedback to ensure the highest quality of care and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Lead a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children.
  • Teacher Development: Coach and mentor less experienced teachers, model behaviors, and provide feedback to ensure the highest quality of care and education.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Center Success: Support your center's success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year of professional teaching experience preferred, at least six months of professional teaching experience required.
  • Education: Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree preferred, high school diploma/GED required.
  • Certifications: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP), CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
  • State Requirements: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
